We do not operate a support telephone line or an online support form. Please include your device model, system version, and app version, along with the steps that led to the problem. General inquiries are usually answered within 5 business days; requests concerning personal information, within 15 business days of verification.
Permissions
The app requests one permission and no others.
The Android release build keeps only the camera permission, with network and the rest removed from the manifest; on iOS, camera use is the sole declaration.
Requirements
iOS 16.0 or later. On Android, camera permission is required. The interface is available in 12 languages, English and Simplified Chinese among them.
Common questions
Why is the count inaccurate?
Counting follows the trajectory learned during the demonstration: a repetition counts only once it has moved through that trajectory in order and returned to the start. Three causes are common. The demonstration itself did not contain a complete cycle — start position, far end of the movement, return to the start. The repetition fell short of the range, or turned back before reaching the far end. Or the body parts involved did not stay in frame. Adjust the framing and your distance so those parts remain visible throughout, and record the demonstration again if needed.
Which movements are out of scope?
The model works from human pose joints, which suits whole-body movements around large joints such as squats and push-ups. Movements that depend on finger detail, equipment handling, or interaction with objects are out of scope: what distinguishes them does not show up in body joints, so they cannot be told apart.
Is the camera feed uploaded? Is any video saved?
Neither. Camera frames are processed on the device in real time; no video is recorded, written to disk, or uploaded. A demonstration produces JPEG thumbnails so that the trim can be confirmed. Those thumbnails exist only in the memory of the current session — at most the last 12 seconds and 128 of them — and are released when the session ends.
Where is my data stored, and is it lost when I uninstall?
Saved movement models, your language preference, and your recording display preference are kept on disk. A movement model holds pose trajectory figures, contains no images, and is stored as a file in the app's documents directory; the two preferences contain only setting values. This data stays on the device and is never synced to a server. It is lost permanently if the app is uninstalled, if its storage is cleared in system settings, if you switch devices, or if the device is damaged. Because the data never leaves your device, we cannot read or delete it remotely.
How do I delete a saved movement?
Delete them one at a time from the list of existing movements on the home screen; once confirmed, the corresponding file is removed from the device. To clear all of them at once, clear the app's storage in system settings or uninstall the app.
Can I try it without subscribing?
Yes. Explicitly choose the seven-day local experience: it does not require a subscription, charge you, or renew. The period begins at your first start and cannot be extended by starting again. After it ends, starting another workout requires a subscription. iOS keeps the experience record in Keychain. An Apple subscription trial is a separate offer and remains subject to its billing terms once confirmed.
Does it need a network connection or an account?
Pose inference runs on bundled RTMPose weights on your device, without uploading camera footage. On iOS, loading subscription products, purchasing, restoring, and verifying access may require a connection to Apple services, so uninterrupted offline access is not guaranteed. No ActiCount account is required; subscriptions use your Apple account. The app contains no advertising, behavioral analytics, or cloud-sync component.
What does the spoken count depend on?
Reaching a count plays a tone, and the number is read aloud by the system's speech synthesis. Whether you hear it therefore depends on having a usable system voice installed, and on the media volume and the silent switch. If you hear the tone but not the number, the usual cause is missing system speech data, or the voice for that language not being installed.
Which interface languages are available?
Twelve: English, 简体中文 (Simplified Chinese), 繁體中文 (Traditional Chinese), 日本語 (Japanese), 한국어 (Korean), Español, Français, Deutsch, Português (Brasil), Русский (Russian), Italiano, and Bahasa Indonesia. Pick one in the app's settings. Each language appears under its own name, so a language chosen by mistake can still be found and undone.
This website itself is offered in Simplified Chinese and English only. That is deliberate, and independent of the languages the app provides.
Is there an Android version?
The app is developed for both iOS and Android; on Android it requires camera permission. For release progress, refer to this site and to the announcements in the respective app stores.
